Dear Reader...

With this 2010 edition of The Gold Book, we are still striving to locate advertisers who enjoy working with the foreign community. We have added several new advertisers and have kept many of the same advertisers from last year. Times have been a little hard for some businesses, so they couldn't come back again. We understand. You can also find many advertisers in our online edition at www.goldbookyucatan.com.

We are committed to helping the foreign community find as many businesses and services that we can, keeping in mind that we are part of the Yucatan population, and want to integrate ourselves into life and culture here.

We know that speaking the Spanish language is necessary for all of us to live here. We study and work on our skills. But we also know that finding businesses and services is easiest with a little help in English sometimes! Although many of the service providers may not speak a lot of English, they want to let us know that they are here, willing to help us get our needs accomplished.

Please be advised... the Gold Book does not guarantee the quality of any business or service advertised in this publication... it is a guide. Many businesses have been recommended by the foreign community for the quality work and service they provide.

We hope that you will find this directory useful, and will let the advertisers know you saw their ads.
